Jessica Bantom, The Design DEIB Consultant, is a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging practitioner, interior design consultant, and speaker whose mission is to help designers increase their cultural competence so they can create in ways that honor humanity.

Jessica is a business-minded creative whose professional experience spans marketing, IT and management consulting, and startup leadership. A skilled consultant with over 20 years of experience, her roster of clients includes renowned universities, global professional associations, and government agencies. Jessica is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Marymount University and holds a Master’s in interior design as well as a combination of a variety of certifications in DEI, change management, design thinking, coaching, and facilitation.

Patti Carpenter

GLOBAL TREND AMBASSADOR

Patti Carpenter is a Micro-Enterprise specialist with U.S. presidential recognition for her expertise in artisan development, small producer training, and economic development. She has designed and sourced private label collections for top brands, including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Crate & Barrel, and Ralph Lauren, and has worked in 58 countries.

An expert in color and trend forecasting, she consults with Pantone and serves as the Global Trend Ambassador for Maison & Objet, Paris. She sits on the boards of SERRV International, BADG, The High School of Fashion Industries, and The Bienenstock Furniture Library, and co-founded the Kaleidoscope Project. Patti is also a recipient of the 2021 Gift For Life Industry Achievement Award and the WithIt Industry Leadership Award for her work with the Kaleidoscope Project.

Tiffany Jordan

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Tiffany Jordan brings over 30 years of experience in fundraising and community engagement, with a strong track record in public media, behavioral health, and the arts. She has led successful development efforts at Virginia Public Media, Hillcrest Children and Family Center, National Philharmonic, and BlackRock Center for the Arts.

At the National Building Museum, she directs individual giving strategies, building lasting donor relationships and supporting the museum’s mission through thoughtful engagement.

Tiffany serves on the Montgomery History Board and is a member of the Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Morgan State University and a DEI certification from the University of South Florida.

Kim Kuhteubl

AUTHOR & AWARD-WINNING PRODUCER

Kim Kuhteubl is an author, award-winning producer and coach with an unapologetically, uncommon take on doing business.

She founded MeByDesign, an idea boutique for the Home industry in 2011 and works with interior designers and the trade in the United States, Europe and Canada. Her first book, Branding + Interior Design has taught thousands of designers how to bridge the gap between designer and design leader. Using her proprietary Visibility Strategy, she’s helped more designers go from six to seven-figure revenue than any other coach in the industry.

Kim works with interior designers, architects, creative executives, lifestyle influencers, and makers of beautiful things for the home on brand and business strategy, visibility, and audience engagement across multiple digital channels.

Sherrell Martin

CEO & ACCOUNTANT

Sherrell Martin is the Founder and CEO of Nitram Financial Solutions, LLC, an award-winning financial management and consulting firm specializing in interior design, design-build, and digital strategy businesses. Since 2012, her team has helped clients improve cash flow, maximize profits, and strengthen financial systems using her 4 Pillars of Financial Success™ framework.

With over 25 years of experience in public accounting and corporate finance, she is dedicated to helping businesses achieve financial clarity. She also founded Rock the Books Online®, an on-demand training program that equips aspiring bookkeepers with the skills to succeed.

David Mitchell

INTERIOR DESIGNER

David Mitchell approaches interior design with a distinct philosophy—every client is unique, and their home should be a true reflection of their personality. With over 20 years of experience, David has the expertise to create spaces that align with each client’s lifestyle and needs. He believes the design process should be engaging, educational, and a collaborative journey between designer and client.

David’s exceptional talent and perspective have earned him recognition in numerous prestigious publications, including House Beautiful, Veranda, Home & Design, Luxe, Southern Living, Metropolitan Home, Traditional Home, and Southern Accents. He was selected by Southern Accents to design the entire Old Dominion Showhouse in McLean, Virginia (2005) and has been named one of House Beautiful’s Top 100 Interior Designers.
